View point for lunch. Some teachers volunteered to help on

witnessed this music concert. Students from Laidlaw Memorial

Sale
The third annual Jumble Sale was conducted by Riverside
Public School at Selma Hall. All types of things like new and
in good condition clothes, electronic items, books, kitchen
ware etc, were put on sale. The items for sale were given by
the students staff and well wishers of Riverside. All proceeds
of this sale are to be used for charitable cause.
The volunteers for this sale were students of class IX & a few
staff. Special lunch was arranged in Ooty for the students &
staff who helped in the sale.

an open day for all Hostellers from 10 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. the
parents of hostellers met the teachers (class VI & above)
regarding their ward’s performance in the II Unit Test held on

Girls). Our boys were coached in Cricket and Football by
Coaches from the Sports authority of India and Sports
Development Authority of TamilNadu (SADT)
They were coached by
India International Coaches,
Mr. Srinivasa Rao and his
brother who coached Sarath Kumar – T.T player who is India
International and Common Wealth Champion and by D. Shekar-
Football coach – India International who played for East
Bengal, Tata – Mumbai.
Matches were played against
various schools and clubs all over Chennai.
It was a good exposure for our students.

Camp held in Riverside Public School for Football
Summer camp was held in
Riverside Public School Kotagiri for 20 days.
It was conducted by the NDFA and SADT- Nilgiris Unit for
budding footballers.
250 students of Riverside Public School and other children
from Kotagiri were coached by Mr. Mahesh – AFC coach and Mr.
Govindan, HOD sports, RSPS.

Bharathanatya Arangetram of
M.M.Jayashree, K.Abinaya, S.Tara & Sneha Prakash of Std IX was
held today in the school auditorium by 3.00 p.m. The students
were trained & prepared by Smt. Yalini Joseph. The Chief Guest
was Prof.Dr. P. Chandrasekaran, President, Forensic Science
Society of India. The musicians were Mrs. Jothimathi – vocal,
Mr. Nagarajan – Mridangam, Mr. Vinod – violin and Mrs. Yalani
Joseph – Nattuvangam.
