KCM ALL INDIAN FIDE RATED CHESS TOURNAMENT

Riverside students participated in the All Indian FIDE rated chess tournament conducted by Kovai Chess Masters at P.C.Kalyana Mandapam, Ganapathy, Coimbatore.

 

RESULTS:

Jeremiah of class 12 was placed 7th in the main list & 1st in below 1,300 ratings. He received a cash prize of Rs.10, 000/- and 180 points to his rating.

Meha Ravi of class 11 was the first woman to become a FIDE rated player from Nilgiris.

Independence Day was celebrated in school students of classes KG to 12 and teachers were present in the main campus few speeches by teachers & students were given and also songs & dance was performed.
